Why the Details Reflect Real Disease Behavior

Other disease pins expire after 90 days, since most of the other tracked conditions do not linger in the environment nearly as long. That distinction matters because a stale warning is nearly as unhelpful as no warning at all, and an outdated one that never expires eventually gets ignored.
